Amiram Shachar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Upwind, The Cloud & AI security company that uses runtime context to help organizations protect everything they run in the cloud. Upwind cuts through alert noise so security teams can focus on the risks that matter most. Started in 2023, the company has grown quickly and raised over $430M in funding. Upwind is also the preferred AWS CNAPP Partner available in the AWS Security Hub console.

Before Upwind, Amiram founded Spot.io, a leader in cloud infrastructure optimization, and grew it from a college project into a global company. NetApp acquired Spot for $450M in 2020, and he went on to lead Spot by NetApp as Vice President and General Manager. As a repeat founder, he brings a first-hand view of how cloud teams build, scale, and secure modern applications.
