MANAGING DIRECTOR OF AWS CANADA

Dan serves as Managing Director of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Canada, where he leads the company’s business across the country. A customer-obsessed leader, Dan partners directly with senior leadership and boards to help organizations harness cloud and AI to drive real business outcomes.

Dan brings more than two decades of enterprise technology leadership to his role. He joined AWS as one of its first employees in Canada and has been part of building the business ever since — from early days to the high-performance teams that today guide hundreds of organizations through cloud transformation. Before AWS, Dan spent a decade at Microsoft, where his roles ranged from strategy and operations to leading inside sales, mid-market, and enterprise teams. Dan began his career at Accenture, consulting for major banks and insurers. Throughout, he has led with curiosity and genuine partnership — convinced the work is always better that way.

He holds a degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is based in Toronto, where he lives with his wife and their three sons.
