Kayla Underkoffler is the VP of Applied AI Security at Zenity, where she leads internal and external efforts to bring tangible value to the AI security ecosystem. Her professional career began in the United States Marine Corps, after which she transitioned into cybersecurity, serving as a practitioner across vulnerability management, security operations, and crowdsourced security before becoming a dedicated advocate for Agentic AI security and governance.

In her current role, Kayla operates as the practitioner voice across Zenity and beyond, from overseeing the Field CISO team to leading international policy conversations and shaping open-source security standards. Driven by a passion for bridging the gap between business and technology, Kayla is a tenacious advocate for the importance of security for everyone.
